If I'm not in a hurry I use a press. Otherwise it's instant for me.

I have a run of the mill Keurig with the refillable baskets and a ghetto proctor silex grinder. It makes good coffee. So WTF is that you have there?

Hot apple cider. Hot water dispenser for soups and etc. It works in more ways than just coffee.

I love coffee! I mostly use Hario pour over after grinding with my Baratza Vario.

Indeed :) But if I'm honest it's because I like doing stuff the old way(ish)... Same reason I shave with a straight razor :P

I still grind it and steam it myself. And I make drip coffee twice a year. All in a hide-away cabinet.
That Krups is over 16 years old.

Tea? Head to the Indian/Pakistani grocery for some Lipton (yes, THAT Lipton) Yellow Label. Pull it off just before boil and a 6 minute steep.
People who claim to not like tea love my tea.

I thought there is also a benefit to that method. Doesn't it make the best cup of coffee possible?

Gotta have my JDM Hario grinder and the Aeropress (not my photo). Just make sure to secure the cap or it won't be caffeine that'll be greeting you...
Fun fact: Operating that coffee grinder generates more torque than the average Honda engine.

I don't have one but always hear it's the way to go if you're willing to spend extra time to get the perfect mug
Looks cool too
I should get one. I stopped using my coffee maker almost a year ago cause I would always make too much, then drink it all. I switched to an espresso machine because it was easier to control my intake that way

The way I see is like this, I NEED my coffee in the morning so I might as well spend some time and make it proper, it'll also make sure I'm up early enough as to not be late. Life's to short to drink shitty coffee/beer/wine/whatever :)

Exactly! We might die tomorrow. So may as well drink good stuff
I like mornings too. I never cook lunch or dinner. But I like taking my time in the morning to make a good breakfast. It's a relaxing ritual.

Exactly, that's why I shave with a straight razor, sure it does take me longer but it's just a nice ritual.
That said, I'm Norwegian, and the only people who drink more coffee than us are the Finns (suomalaiset) so I guess I drink 5-10 cups each day :P

Hahaha I can only imagine how much coffee you northern europeans drink
I already like the taste and caffeine. If it was freezing cold I would drink it 24/7

Heh, well 10 degrees C (50 F) is what we've been having the last few days, way to warm in the winter here. That said, 32C (89F) is not uncommon in the summer, neither is -32C (-26F) in the winter.

Normally we have 22-25C(71-77F) in the summer in my town, this summer though it was VERY hot, peaked out at 50C (122F) in the sun in my backyard (concrete walls and shit, stores heat like a motherfucker. Mind you, the air temp was 33C or something down by the lake at that time). Few years ago it was -37C(-35F) in the same backyard in the middle of winter, Want to experience a huge difference in temperatures and weather? Visist eastern Norway ;p

I shave with a safety razor for the same reason. Working my way up to a straight blade! I'm somewhat of a classicist. Perhaps explains why I'm scared of automatic transmissions, turbos, and AWD :/

AWD is perhaps almost as old as the automobile itself though :)
